Apple picking! There are so many apple orchards in Oak Glen it's hard to decide which one to choose. We decided on Riley's Cabin. It's not the same as Riley's Farm who also has apple orchards, it's another orchard down the street. All of these places have picnic areas where tons of families have lunch. We totally recommend bringing the kids. We made homemade apple cobbler with some of our apples!
The freshest apples ever! There's just something about eating an apple fresh off the tree!
Ryley waiting patiently.
Mom and Kai trying to stay out of the sun. Ryley goes crazy over all the pine trees in the area. She loved this tree because it was huge and you could stand under it with all the branches hanging over you...she calls them all Christmas Trees!
Daddy and Ryley hard at work!
Kai enjoying their hard work.
She really loves apples!
Ryley checking her bag.
Ryley placing another apple in her bag.
Ryley refused to put an apple with imperfections into her bag. The rule at the orchard is...if you pick an apple and five fall down...you just bought them all.

Love the pictures at Oak Glen. My Aunt and Uncle that live in Yucaipa just sent me some pictures they took there too. We really need to take a trip out there. Any good apple recipes? I'm way behind on posting anything, so pumpkin recipes are coming soon!
