Our baby loves to crawl up the stairs. As much as we tighten the gate she still trys to get over it. At one point we heard a loud thump...we got up and ran to see what had happened. We found Kai laying on her back like a rollie pollie trying to get up and the gate on TOP of her! She wasn't crying just struggling. Since this incident, we have learned how to tighten this gate to it's maximum capability.
